Took my 2010 Gen III Prius in today hoping to get TSB-0012-10 and/or TSB-0204-11 performed because of poor cold weather start-up problems. Instead, they performed TSB-0205-11 and TSB-0363-10 I did a google search and a search of these forms but did not come up with what these two additional TSB's actually do. Can anyone help?
This thread should list all TSB's known to date. http://priuschat.com/forums/gen-iii-2010-prius-technical-discussion/98809-listing-3rd-gen-tsbs.html
So I don't even see these TSB's on the list... any ideas of how to handle it? Will toyota give me a copy of the front page of the TSB?
0205-11 is an ECM reflash to address failure to start (P3190, P3191, P0A0F). Look under your hood with all the other labels to see if there is a sticker indicating such. 0363-10 is a Brake ECU reflash to address brake noise when stopped. Chances are, the tech did a health check, found no codes for P030x, went into the ECU menu, noticed that there were two updates available, and did those.
