Every time i got to build a Prius online, it brings up the old 2011 colors/options. I thought at one time it was the correct 2012 configurator. Was I just imagining things?
Works for me. I didn't select "base" trim, and I selected "IV" then the sea glass pearl was an option, so I know it's for 2012.
I tried it and it says 2012 at the top of the page but I thought 2012 included HUD as part of the ATP and no longer included the parking assist. So, if that's true, it looks like the options they list are for the 2011?
I get a big red bar at the bottom that says 2011 Prius. It's all old school and plain looking. I tried Chrome and Firefox, and it doesn't work at all in Safari on OSX Lion.
You get that from www.toyota.com ? If so, they're simply misdirecting you to the old url or whatever. Yes, others have reported the same thing and they haven't updated that part, but the rest of website should be correct for 2012.
OK, so they're definitely directing you to the old url because you're in the GST region. The rest of us get to build our Prius on the official Toyota website, which is correct for 2012.
