Ok, so the problem is that the plug will not come out no matter what. I made sure I was pressing down on the clip, and tried working it out of the slot. Is there any special technique that can help? It's almost as if the plug is glued in.
I tried using pliers, but the tangle of wires makes it impossible. Is there a way to pry out the block using a screwdriver? There seems to be two slots on the side where this might work.
