I'm just now learning about the scarcity of the Prius C, so I guess I should feel lucky. I went to look at used Prius's at World Toyota here in Atlanta last Sunday..and whaddya know? They had one last black Prius C 2 available. After test driving, it, I knew I was going to be driving it off the lot. I traded in 2011 Rav-4 Sport/6 Cylinder. I had a 10.4% interest rate on it and the damn thing would eat up $45 in gas every week. So I knew if I really wanted to lower my overall monthly car expense, I'd need to get a Prius. The good news is my credit score had jumped up over the last year, so I qualified for a better interest rate. Since my trade-in was actually valued at more than the Prius, I didnt have to pay taxes. So overall, I'll save about $300 a month in monthly expenses with the Prius C. I love this car. I drive 42 miles per day round trip to get to work, and when it shows I got 52mpg during my trips and only spent about $2 in gas total, thats incredible. Part of my trip back from work includes a one miles stretch of stop-n-go traffic to get onto the interstate, I put it on EAV mode all the way.... Cant wait to drive it the 300 miles to go see my folks during Memorial Day.
