....that's a funny video ...I don't feel so bad breaking my rods now. We have a new entry for worlds most dangerous profession.
Prius chat member ParDreamer turned me on to the Wilderness Systems Tarpon 100, it's a 10.0-ft fishing Kayak. He carries it inside his Prius, with the back door ajar (tied down). This sounded good to me, as I am tired of hoisting a 17-ft canoe up on the car by myself. Here is perfect fit inside our minivan, which has similar seats as Prius (3rd row fold away - 2nd row buckets remove or fold down - front seat fold backwards). Note I tied this thing down for safety in transport from the airport pick-up, and it was very secure. Next I am going to try Prius fit with back door closed but I don't think it'll close.

Hmm not to ruin a good fish thread but how the heck do I post photos from an iPad2? This new forum won't even give me the usual formatting tools let alone a GUI to upload photos. Apple sucks.
It's a smallmouth. Note that the hinge of the jaw is forward of the eye. And... maybeeeee... do you think the chap in the picture is young? good looking? fit? If the answer to two out of the three is 'yes' then it might be me. Otherwise I've never met the guy.
Yep! New HDS® Gen2 | Lowrance That particular image came from here. Kentucky lake largemouth ledge school That's pic is from a Lowrance HDS w/Structurescan they come in 5" 7" 8" and 10" models. I just put one on my Bass Boat. It also allows you to overlay your sonar image upon a topographical map of the lake . . . And it can even help you find where you parked the bus . . .
Helped my buddy pre-fish before a tournament at Clear Lake. He took eighth place in the pro division. He was in second place on day two but day three whooped him. You'd look this trashed too after a full day in the scorching heat. iPad ? HD
Sweet those are some BIG nice person BASS! Clear Lake used to be the #1 bass fishing lake in the country. Recently passed up by Falcon Lake in Texas according to B.A.S.S. magazine. Problem is down there you have to fish with a pole in one hand and gun in the other. LoL! Wife and I are heading up there the first weekend of August. I don't care what I look like as long as I can hold up some fish like that I'll be happy.
Spring is the best time for bucket mouths but that lake nearly always puts out good fish and since hardly anyone every keeps them they just keep getting bigger. I expect a full report and pics! I have to plug Clear Lake Outdoors too. My other buddy's dad owns that shop.
Got up at five and was on the water just at light. No joy this morning. This is the way to fish, SO slept in and I've come bak to get her and eat breakfast. Now we're heading over to CLO and fish for tips then bak on the water, LoL! What a beautiful lake!
Troy at Clear Lake Outdoors is a stand up guy F8L, thanks for the tip! It's a tough bite will report tomorrow.
