Recently I tried to program the nav system on screen, but it wouldn't let me enter an address. The car was moving but I was in the passenger seat. Do I have to use a smart phone connected to the entune system, or can I just add addresses manually from the screen while the car is in park? My dealer knew nothing about the car, so was no help. I haven't delved into the manual yet - hoping for a quick answer from the pros here. Thanks, Tom
I do not know about the smart phone connected to the entune system, but you can add addresses manually from the screen while the car is in park! Read more: http://priuschat.com/threads/using-the-nav-system-in-a-base-pip.112188/#ixzz20Xv3DTAZ
I forgot to mention you can also use voice activation while in motion! Just tell it the complete address you wish to go to.
Welcome to the Toyota world - as viewed by the lawyers. This is a function on all Toyota and Lexus cars - while in motion, certain functions are not available. But you can use the voice commands. And there are some after market systems available to do an override Some of them are expensive - about $300.00.
Download an app called WAZE to your smartphone. It's an awesome GPS app, and it gives turn by turn via Bluetooth.
I was just glancing at this on Friday, but lifetime its something like 68% EV and 32% HV. But I pulled the battery before the 3rd fill on April 22nd. The Fuelly MPG is correct though. But here are my tank numbers: Tank 1: 54% EV, 46% HV Tank 2: 63% EV, 37% HV Tank 3: 75% EV, 25% HV Here are some more numbers to look at for other PC members. Priuschat Pip MPG Spreadsheet My numbers arent actually that great because my HV gas mileage is horrible. Unless I'm actually going somewhere (besides work or home), when my ICE comes on, its always chugging uphill. Keeping the thread on topic, there's also the navigation bypass made by PC's own cproaudio and sold in the Prisuchat Store for something like $70, iirc.
