Hey guys, I saw this steering wheel on eBay and am quite interested in buying it: http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/viewitem?itemId=120837357564 However, the price is rather high and I am not particularly fond of the blue color. Unfortunately I also cannot find any other steering wheel with the same shape and the same amount of leather wrap. Can anyone advise me of other options that may be available? Thanks. iPhone ?

I take it you already know about JDM Prius Steering Wheel | PriusChat The ebay one has more aggressive grips than the Sport version as well as leather-wrapped nubs at 2 o'clock and 10 o'clock but is said to be $100 more expensive. This post also shows it in black so it's available in colors other than heat blue. EDIT: Just noticed that the ebay seller is mitaccessories, same seller that sells the turn signal mirrors. He has lots of stuff for the Prius so I'd shoot him a message asking if the more aggressive steering wheel is available in black or some other color you prefer. Otherwise, get the regular Sport version (which still has the "thumb rests" at 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock but not as aggressive) for over $100 less.

All the online stores are Japanese, which means you have to go out of your way to import them yourself. Nigel is the first U.S. retailer to stock them. As I explained in my previous post, the one you want isn't the sport version that Nigel carries. The sport version is shown below: The grips at the 3-4 o'clock and 8-9 o'clock aren't nearly as aggressive and it has the "cancer grips" (the bulges in the wood) at 2 o'clock and 10 o'clock instead of leather-wrapped nubs. If Nigel can get the more expensive steering wheel for you, he'll have to import it first. On the other hand, if the ebay seller mitaccessories happens to have it in black in addition to heat blue he can ship it right away so I'd shoot him an email.
