Hi Everyone! I have the 2012 Prius and wanted to know if there was a way to mod the DRL to stay on with the headlights? Can I just run the DRL to the parking lights (tapping a wire from the DRL to the parking lights)? Will it pull too much volts? Thanks in advance.
What u can do is take the DRL harness off & run the + wire to a line that's hot when in ready mode so that the DRLs are always on. As for them pulling too many volts......I wouldn't worry since they are LEDs.
Has anyone added DRLs to their 2010/2011 Prius??? Am very interested to do so but want them to look a stock setup as per the 2012.
have you wired the DRL's to stay on with the headlights? Very curious to do this myself. I have added some Audi LED style strips in the grill & then i replaces the parking lights with LED's & i'm pretty happy with the results bout would love to be able to have the DRL's also on when the headlights are on.
