I'm looking for the measurements of the cargo space for the Prius C with the back seats down (and not just total cubic feet.) My husband and I will be traveling all over the country as we move from NYC back to Seattle in September. We are trying to figure how much room we'll have for our camping gear, food, etc. We'd like to be able to measure the area out ahead of time, since we won't be able to pick up our new car until the very last minute (after our moving pod is packed.) Can anyone tell me, roughly, the length, width and height with the back seats down? Thank you!

I just took some measurements. With the driver's seat about halfway back, there's 58" from the back of the seat to the hatch. Maximum width between the rear door handles is 48"; between the wheel arches is 39". Depending how much you squish the back seats when they're folded down, you have about 26" - 28" height throughout the cargo area.
Want I can add is what i can fit. My son in his car seat on side of the back seat. The other side of folded down its my dog very comfortably along with normal little kid stuff, diaper bag, stroller ect. Oh and by the way I have a Great Dane.
