I like the way H&Rs make gen3 sit. They feel great. Also had H&Rs on my M3......loved them. I have Eibachs on my CTS now & feel their a I'll too stiff.
I wonder if there is a big change from gen II and Gen III as far as how much they drop. I want mine to sit low.
IMO there is a big difference. The GenII sits lower from the factory. What I mean by lower is there is less of a gap between the tire and top of the wheel well. The Eibach springs dropped my 2005 so low that I could barely get 1 finger between the tire and wheel well top in the front and the car basically sat on the tire in the rear (no gap).
I'm deciding between the two eibach and h&r. But leaning more towards h&r, I think tire rack has a good deal.
