I want to buy a prius 3rd gen next year around February or March. I had a couple of questions. When will the 2013 be released? What will be different from 2012 to 2013? I am looking at Prius five with Advanced Technology package. Will the prices go up, down or stay the same for 2013 Thanks in advance

According to the site below (which seems to have been accurate in the past), 2013 Prius will arrive in US dealers starting Nov/Dec of this year: Toyota (Build Out Final Order Start Up Dates)
i suspect prices will go up, as they have done invariably every year, at least to account for inflation.
All Prius from 2010 on to (probably) 2014 or 2015 will be third gen. The 2012 model had an update, so don't expect too much change in 2013. The display may be updated to match the Prius C with brighter colours. If you find a 2012 "on sale" you won't be missing much if you get it. If you'd rather wait for a 2013 that's fine too. It's more about money than features between 2012 and 2013.
My local Toyota Dealer still has a 2011 for sale, just not 'on sale'. New 2011 Toyota Prius 5dr HB II (Black Car) Grenada, Mississippi
That brings up an interesting thought, I wonder how many leftover 2011's are sitting on dealer lots, anybody know of others?
