That means your estimate for your particular driving circumstances is accurate.

Please tell us details of your drive.

My morning commute along the river includes some up & down, some stoplights, and a maximum speed of only 55 mph. The result has consistently been about 13 miles of EV travel regardless of what the estimate says... which goes down sharply after a long trip up north without recharging but comes back shortly after returning to the daily routine.

I am thinking of turning off my MID for a while, it can't be healthy to obsess about all these stats during all my drives.

I think the cold weather has had an effect on my Trip odo EV 10.5 WITH .9 EV left over. I drove 15mph(2.7 miles one way) to work friday, 15 mph to subway (1.0 miles one way) yesterday, then 15 mph to subway today on the way back I went 35 mph (1 mile)

thank you. 10 is consistant with what many people are getting. im getting 14 right now on the same commute i was getting 16-17 a few months ago. cooler weather and headlamps seem to be bringing it down, althought it's only 50's and 60's, i'm afraid of what 20's and 30's might bring. climate, terrai, stops and starts and driving techniques all play into it. if you feel like your batteries are deficient, find a reasonably flat area where you can drive 30-40 mph without many stops and climate controls off. if you can't get 13-14 miles of ev, i would go back to the dealer. although, i doubt they will do anything without any codes.

yes, with out hills and stops and climate controls and lead feet and extreme weather, i can't imagine why you would'nt get 13 or 14 miles. if only there was a way to test the batteries.

priuschat won't let me insert the french google maps link. (jurrasictest) don't know why. but I entered 2.7 kw to the battery capacity of the Leaf in this website. also put the PIP's curb weight in the Leaf also. and the results match what my batteries are getting.
