3m Color Stable tint

Tint bottom rear window?

    So today I got my Prius windows tinted with 20% all the way around with 3m Color stable film.
    I got a 6in strip put on the top of the windshield. I will post pics soon, the whole tint job ran me around $350. One thing I noticed is they did not put film on the rear bottom window. Is this normal?I know it is tinted from the factory but it does seem lighter than 20%. Please share your tinting experience did you get the rear bottom window tinted? Update: So I went back to my tinter and I told them I wanted the rear window tinted. I posted pics

    I had the bottom rear window tinted the same as the rear hatch.

    They didn't tint the bottom rear window of my vehicle. It just about matches the 35% I had applied to the upper part of the hatch glass.

    Same here, 35% Formula One Ceramic tint, no tint on lower hatch window. Looks good from the outside, but the view from the inside, the lower window has a pinkish hue compared to the tinted hatch.

    they told me the film would not adhere because the window is plastic is true?

    It will adhere fine to plastic. The tint shop that did my Prius also said they wouldn't tint that window because it is plastic as well, but others have said it is glass. Maybe it is plastic on the gen 2?
