    Hello I am new to forum and am new owner of Prius C level 2 in silver. Its my first new car and first Hybrid. Loving the MPG.

    Thanks. I had a 2000 Xterra Fuel was killing me and I heard good things about the Prius. Started doing some research. Took it out for a test drive and I was hooked. It already has 4200 miles in 2 months.

    From an Xterra to a Prius, you gas bill probably dropped a few hundred per month.

    I was never able to get more than 18 MPG out of my wife's company provided and maintained Xterra.

    The IRS rate for mileage is $0.555 per mile. Thus A comapny will pay you $27.75 per 50 miles and gas costs only $3.80 per gallon to get that 50 miles. Sales guys are driving a Prius like Crazy in Los Angeles to squeeze the last nicke out since many companies the past 5 years have cut back on commissions.

    Yes I love the car. All my cars are usually 5 speed manual and its so nice to get a break. Also Prius doesn't come in a stick. I commute 114 miles a day.
