I bought my 2012 Prius III model in late August, and I've had to replace two tires, different times, for some invisible road hazard. They came standard -- Goodyear Assurance. Anyone else has problems?
No problems with road hazards currently at 6K. My first Prius (Gen II) came with GY Intregrity tires. They were poor handlers and wore fast, and replaced them the GY Fuel Max on warranty. They were a little better, but got noisy. Now the new Gen III came with the Fuel Max, so it's a vicious circle.
I put Pirelli P- Zeros on my BMW and no complaints. They are very quiet, smooth ride, grip like glue. They are not low resistance. I can't say what are good Prius tires. The Yokohama's seem adequate.
