I knew picking the word "truckers" could imply the commercial trucking world so I should have chosen something else like "bubba" or "redneck", etc. You know, the sort who believe or always repeat the anti-hybrid mantras. I think easing those types into it via an ATV styled lawnmower/generator electric hybrid can do nothing but good for the cause.
Wow! a 30% fuel improvement. Heavily loaded tractor rigs pulling 2 trailers get about 6mpg at best. So that translates to a savings of 1.8mpg. That sounds paltry until you calculate how many miles they lay down each year. .
