I had bought the car Prius 2005 with 182,000 miles, have driven 34,000 with oil changes and replace of tires and brakes. Received two letters for water pump and power steering recalls. Took the car to the dealer, reported an acceleration problem. After recalls were fixed, they did not find any problems. Drove about 5 miles parked for about 3 hours after that a message shows up in the dash with a VSC and a picture of the car with a ! in the middle. Took the car to the dealer and now I have a $4,000 repair! Coincidence! - Reports with battery bad cells 4 and 5.
And what would that repair b? Post more info about your problem, maybe someone can help and they might save u some $$$.

Car still at the dealer, I will try to get the DTC. Car drives fine, can I drive it to the next mechanic. I'm in Calif. San Gabriel Area.
