Swagman XTC 2 bike rack + Reese 1.25 in hitch on my 2012 Prius

    This 2 bike rack is solid. Very impressed !! Plus the bike rack also fits the Highlander's 2 in Curt hitch without any adaptor. No wobble or no sway !!

    $189 for rack on ebay..no tax or shipping fees for CA. Reece hitch receiver $129 on amazon. $30 to install at uhaul the hitch to car.

    I just instaled my hitch today by myself. It took 20 minutes tops. Very easy to do.

    how did it holding up so far. i meant the hitch receiver that you got from the amazon.
    I'm thinking about getting one for myself

    Can you post a picture of your hitch without the bike rack? Just wanted to see how it looks. I have a curt hitch installed in my regular prius and it's an eye sore due to the paint - shinny. Should have been painted with flat paint like the rest. I have the sportrack and looks similar to the swagman. For the money, you can't beat the swagman though.

    Now with Plus springs, it's barely noticeable. I actually don't like the flat matte black and prefer the gloss.

    My bet is smooth glossy finish is more durable. I should have waxed mine.. maybe I will actually. I like how they powder coated it all.. even the inside, at least what I can see.
