hey everyone, can anyone recommend interior led dome lights that are white or super white please? i have some leds installed in the dome however they have a blueish tint and are not as bright as i thought they would be... i would want some that are white with no ting in color...
you can get vled leds. they have good leds that are actually white. not that white with blue hue. i have some ebay leds in my dome light. i will take a picture at night when i get the chance. they are bright with a little blue hue. i think if they were pure white, they would toooo blinding.
this is what i installed you get 2 panels. i installed one panel on each side of the dome light. i bought the 12 panel because it was small and if you look at the space in the dome light it is small. after buying the 12 and installing it, i bought the perfect size!
i did see these and was wondering about them, how did you hold them in? with double sided tape? a pic would be great... thanks...
Pay attention to the Kelvin rating as well. 6000 K will look white in direct light, but the halo will produce blue. The 4300 K is what you are looking for.
kingnba6 thank you especially for the photo of how the light panel look in the overhead dome. i love how bright they are but i'm not jazzed on how they look thru the dome cover... function over design i guess...
I always stick with v-leds for all my led needs. Preordered their new led headlights. They also have great customer service!
yes, they are bright. had them for a while now and still no problems with them. and as for the look, they wont look good until you get a direct bulb replacement for the t10 instead of the led panels. but its not an eye sore to me. so im happy with the price i payed and the light i am getting.
do like the first suggestion someone gave me, can anyone else provide a suggestion? does the dome allow for longer led bulbs?

Try ExLEDusa. I got that tip somewhere on PriusChat, installed them and they look and work great. Good assortment with many variations.
