Is someone buying an S-class actually concerned about mpg or the environment, though?? Lol. I must say...78 mpg is impressive for a car that size.
The point is that even folks who buy the S-class are starting to think that high mileage is cool. That is a good thing, and an important thing if you care about reduced CO2 production. (Yeah, some of you have heard me say stuff like that before.) I'm guessing that the 78 mpg is on the European tests (the report is from Europe), and the advertised number will be less if and when these cars are brought here. But even so, it's good. . .
