Did not see the Gretchen thing coming. Another brilliant piece of writing. Millions coming from them could not be suspect really especially since Walt is dead. Skyler is going to need millions for her defense. She'll plead down to 8-10 in the Fed Pen. Complicit for many years in money laundering and conspiracy and tax evasion and on and on. How'd you like to face the IRS on $80 million undeclared? But again another premise pushes reality. How does Walt drive across the US in a very identifiable old Volvo with NH plates on Nationwide bolo. Very unique body stle that gen Volvo. That would be donuts on sale for every cop in NH. Plus they know which direction he's going in and when he left. He wouldn't have gotten 20 miles much less 2200. Love that Lydia got it. We knew that the second we saw the Stevia go in the cup. All in all pretty good ending. I always thought Jesse would get away as he is truly a cockroach. But he won't be free long. He's now #1 Bolo nationwide. With no money won't be long till his dumb nice person is popped too. Many murder charges on him including of course 2 DEA agents. Great show. But incredibly dark show too. Couldn't get the wife to watch it for years but she was forced to watch the last episode since the show blew up.
Yes I thought the Ricin was for Gretchen too or maybe himself. But really bad way to die. Impossible to detect unless you test for Ricin. And I started to narrate it a little for my wife but quickly realized its impossible. To many ridiculous twists and turns to explain. Going to miss this show. It was great stuff every Sunday.
Thankfully there is now "Boardwalk Empire" to occupy my Sunday nights. I agree it was a great show, and a great finale. Some shows screw it up in the end. Like Lost for example *cough cough*
