Ddm tuning hid kit flickering

    Can some one please tell how to fix a flickering hid bulb
    My right lowbeam some times flickers
    55w 6000k ddm tuning kit

    Crappy kits come with crappy ballasts. Flickering is generally caused by a bad ballast, but can sometimes be the bulb. Swap the bulbs between the sides, and see if the problem follows the bulb or not.

    Make sure that you have a good ground connection on the ballast that is flickering. You can try swapping the bulbs and see if the flickering stays on the same side, goes away, or switches sides.

    i bought 150$ kit for my rx400h projector fog lights but that was because it was the first car with projector fogs and it was a lexus so i didnt mind spending money on that

    hey guys, i swapped the sides and the problem went away

    It could still be the ballast or the bulb. Wait a while and see if it stays flicker free.

    Put a yard stick in the photo so we can see how many inches off the ground the light is.

    You need to be about 20 to 30 feet away from a wall. Looks like you are right up against the inside of a garage door.

    Ground needs to be level too. No upward or downward slopes. ;)
