Forum very slow

    Is anyone having problems over the last few days. I am finding in the UK I am often getting time outs when trying to load PC also editing and loading post can be very slow. Changing pages also sometimes can take 30 seconds This has only happened in the last few days.

    Yes, off and on. Hasn't completely locked, but pages are sometimes very slow to load.

    Yes. I have noticed it as well. It's not you... There has been a lag on an off as the gov tests the data capture center in Utah.

    I have had a couple of double posts because nothing has happened for 30 seconds after pressing "post reply". I also lost one post completely on screen but fortunately had it backed up and was able to reinstate it.

    Today "Sunday" PC has become almost impossible to use taking a minimum of 30 seconds to change pages but often timing out with gateway error. Responding to alerts nothing happens apart from 3 traveling bars at the top of the screen. Posting is a matter of sitting and waiting otherwise double post occur.

    Double posts here and very slow to load. Maybe they need to run some DB maintenance etc.

    I noticed I cannot upload Pictures any more.

    Not sure why.

    I asked one of the Moderators he said don't know.

    Yes, getting close to unusable. Sometimes pages load, finally. Did get one "time out" this morning. Something not right.

    When replying to a post, or making a post then clicking on the post reply button after 2 minutes of non activity you begin to wonder if you clicked the button correctly as the button does not grey out to show that it has been used. Clicking again invariably leads to a double post, and trying to leave that page either does nothing or you loose the post. I fortunately have mine backed up so am able to restore posts, but not every one does this.

    While waiting for the pages to load or refresh, I've watched my grass grow, paint dry, and my kids have grown before my very eyes. ;) :rolleyes:
