I know it is a long shot, but I have noticed fellow OC/LA members on this forum; Did anyone witness a fender bender this morning at approximately 7 AM? Southbound 57, South of Diamond Bar, very close to Tonner Canyon Rd. I was driving my Black 2013 Toyota Prius C in #1 lane, a white car (sedan?) rear ended me and drove off before I could even get a make or model, let alone license plate. If anyone has any information or even just general advice on how I may be able to identify the driver/car; it will be greatly appreciated. Thank you,
With the amount of camera's monitoring us nowadays, did you report this to the Police? Maybe there is a chance a camera caught it happening? I know, I know, they probably do not review highway/intersection/local road feeds for this but hey, ya' never know. Anyways, I hope you catch this cowardless bastard.
Unfortunately Caltrans does not save any of the video. There is one camera (NB 57 at Tonner) that may have captured the incident, but if they don't save the video; it's useless. I did file a report with police. Thanks for the support, hopefully someone is able to step forward with information, but I'm not counting on it.
