I had text messages automatically show up on my entune. I recently got a update on entune, and now I can not get any text/e-mails at all. The E-mail is grayed out, and the text is either -no idem found, or the spinning wheel that goes on forever. Any help would be greatly appropriated. I am paired to a Samsung Gal.3.on a prius V-5. Not sure about Entune, does the 2013 Prius 2 have it? How do I know whether I have it or not? The reason I ask this question is I had a text message show up the other day on my screen. It only occurred once and hasn't done it again. (I've only had the car a couple of months and I am still learning about the system.)
Have you tried pressing the phone button on the radio and then pressing messages on the screen? Mine seems to work that way, but brand new messages do not show up for awhile...
I will try this (anything) to get more entune working. Its pretty limited now, phone,maps and music. Thats all I get. Never got traffic or any other function. Pretty useless. Big DISAPPOINTMENT !!!
With the Galaxy S3 - which OS? Tried rebooting the phone by removing the battery? Iphone - SMS works, U have to go into phone's BT Settings and turn on Show Notification. Run a search alot of instructions on it. Only new messages will show up when the phone is connected, no old SMS will show. It is by Apple's design. To get Traffic working on the Display Audio and Nav system with your Galaxy S3, U need to run the Entune App. Its takes around 2-5mins to pull the traffic data, On major free way U will see flow lines. If U click on traffic U should see traffic events around U. If there are nothing going on you will not find anything there.
GS3 I am running 4.2 or JB. I was told I can not remove the battery to reboot, but I have removed and re-installed E-tune many times,and re-booted my phone many times, no luck. En-tune is only useful for hands free calling, and Nav. Nothing else works from my GS3.
Sorry to hear that. My G2 and my G4 worked with no problem. I can't think of why you are having such problems...
if its JailBreak with stock ROM, iirc Android does not support MAP at all which is why U not getting SMS or email to show up. if its on older OS iirc at one time Samsung enable MAP to have SMS and Email, but on Jelly Bean SMS should work.
