Anyone experiencing a rattle from the moonroof area when on slightly rough roads or any other time? If so what did you do?
I hear it coming from the right side. If I hit the roof enough it will stop for a bit. It is quite annoying.
I've tried opening/closing, vent open/closed, shade open/closed, ran my fingers around the edges, and nothing seems to stop it and can't really tell what is causing it.
I'm not sure either. It's been that way since day one. But I'm not taking it all apart to find it. I can live with it. If it gets any worse then maybe one day I will take it in...
I've never opened the sunroof (except for the shade part, which I usually just keep except on hot days), but I've never heard any rattle from it. My morning commute is through craters in the road and the only thing that rattles is the whole car from the bumps. Not sure why there is a rattle. When it rains, or when you take it to a car wash, does it leak?
