So i dont have a prius... yet. Just started looking at them and ran across one that had the dash lit up and warnings on the lcd as well. I think it wise to steer clear of this car but curios as to what could be wrong with it as this info may come in handy as i look further into these cars.
My first guess would be low 12 volt battery. Really you would need to read the codes to know anything certain. I'd be more concerned with why the car is upside down
You are correct, that car should definitely be avoided. The two warning icons on the MFD mean that the hybrid vehicle system and the high voltage traction battery have problems. The warning lights on the dash may relate to additional problems.
