I saw the new 2014 Corvette at the local Chevy dealership this morning. Many changes from the 2013. Overall, I like the look, but a lot of black plastic vents, hood, front fenders, top of rear fenders. They appear to be functional which is good. I especially like the look of the side vents, front fenders, design of the headlights and the rear. I consider myself a "professional looker", but those days are behind me. A great car for an cruise, but for me, not practical for everyday use. Still, a lot of car for the money.
I've seen one, and was very impressed. Dollar for dollar it's probably the best performing car you can get. It would be the only GM car I would consider buying.
I don't like the Camaro rear lights, but there's no doubt that it's the best Corvette that GM has made....ever. Plus? The "old" C6's are now even more affordable and THEY are not all that shabby either!!
overall i think the 2014 vette is a great car.Seats/interior are the biggest upgrades..don't feel so cheap anymore and keep you in place better. On mine there is a button next to the seat belt you push that ratchets the belt down as tight as you want. Nothing can touch the new one for the money! About the only thing i don't like are the taillights. They belong on corvette's little brother the Camaro
I like it..actually quite a bit. But like many people, hesitant about the tail lights and rear. Maybe it looks better in person? But as it is, in photo's the rear tail light and the entire back, just doesn't live up to the rest of the car. I think it's a very upscale, almost exotic look for the rest of the vehicle, but agree that the tail lights, and maybe the entire rear, looks like it belongs on a much more pedestrian automobile. I have found that sometimes, when I actually see these things in person, I like them better than before.
Are you sure? I hope you're not having to take a deep breath, sit down and repeat the above over and over ... J/K
The only thing between me and a new Vette is a winning lottery ticket. Then again, the only thing between me and a lot of things is winning lottery ticket.
I had a new one, way back in 1977. The thrill was always wanting one. Once I had it, it was no longer a thrill. I've had a few other nice cars along the way. What I have now, is what I want now.
