So a few weeks ago my 2007 Prius was t-boned by an idiot who ran a red a light, but everything will soon get fixed by her insurance. And I decided to zipcar a Gen 3 Prius for a few days, and it seemed that the steering was even lighter and more artificial than my Gen 2 Prius. I also noticed this in my mom's new Prius V so am I just imagining this or is it real?
No imagination. The Gen III is a whole new ball game. Just got into our new 2013. Came from a Gen II 2009. Liked the Gen II a lot. LOVE our new Gen III. Best of luck to you! Ron (dorunron)
The steering feels much better on the gen 3. Gen 2 steering is bad. It always seems to need correction. On the other hand, the Gen 2 brakes are much better than the Gen 3. Yes, I have both and drive both.
