Black box to the left of steering wheel

    There is a approximately 1.5 by 1.5 inch black box attached to the dash below the steering wheel on the left side. It has a wire connection to it. Today I saw that the wire was disconnected. Does anybody know what this little box is for? It looks tacked on, has a weird button on it.

    Photo? Sometimes dealers put in anti-theft stuff and don't take it out.

    Sounds like a dealer installed Karr alarm system.

    They really aren't that great. You didn't miss out on much. Besides, do you really want a fugly plastic box screwed into your dash?
