If so, how did you do it? Does it have the "alignment hole" behind it? (im not going to remove toyota emblem) I'm planning to use hairdryer and dental floss, then apply goo gone to remove the sticky residue.
The backend badges minus the the cowboy hat badge are just glued on. Took me about 20mins during a downpour to remove the left & right side badges. The dental floss kept breaking (used the cheap stuff from the dentist loot bag). The leftover adhesive peeled right off, no goo-gone needed. I washed him and gave the badge spots a quick wax over. My Pc is 3 weeks old so no ghosting issues.
Dont use goo gone, it strips the clear coat, just work it off with your fingers, and wax over and you should be fine
The side badges have an alignment hole. Not sure about the front one; although you'll definitely have an indent where the cowboy hat used to sit.
i messed up the side ones because of the holes. i will put some Hello Kitty stickers over the holes at some point. the rear tailgate without badges looks very nice though
You might not want to remove the hybrid badges - they're not just there for marketing - they are there to let first responders know not to just cut into the car where there might be high voltage cables and dangerous batteries to try to rescue you. Hybrid cars require special procedures in an accident scene. Here's a PDF made for firefighters, there's an identification section concerning the hybrid badges. http://afvsafetytraining.com/erg/Toyota-PriusC-2012.pdf
i have removed all symbols from back and side. looks different.. like 10 min. job. but i debadge next day i bought. pictures coming soon.
dang it, there are holes on the side badge, any solutions to hide the hideous hole? or I have to give up removing the ugly hybrid badge.
