Here are a couple of photos of the wheel wells/underside of my car. the green hole/tab thing is one of the places where a certain splash guard/underside cover attaches. I didn't even know this piece existed before I had my pads replaced and the guy was like ...where's the piece that's goes here? It's behind the wheel if you're facing the car, and sweeps down to attach to the underside. Towards the front of the car, it attaches, in part, to the bumper/underengine cover, for lack of a better word. On the driver's side, this unknown piece covers the transaxle. There is one for each side of the car. I'd really like to get these installed before the winter comes! Any clues you could give a newbie like me? The first picture is from the passenger side, the second, drivers side, bumper on lower left side of picture
It is probably this item: 2004 2009 Prius Engine Splash Shield Lower TO1228141 Under Cover Center Plastic | eBay
thanks! althought that's not the part I'm after, it's also one that I need. I found out the parts I need are the left/right pieces that will attach to this.
Contact Steve at Autobeyours. He might have all the splash guards and all the gromets too. Shipping from Indiana to Mass, shouldn't be too bad.
