Actually I used the Truecar service through my credit union Penfed They had a 0% financing for 36mo. mSRP was $28,205. I was pleasantly surprised when I got a quote for $26,786. And since I didn't used Toyota financing at 2.9% I got an additional $500 rebate and $100 off b/c I had an American Express card. The quote was for a dealership 40miles away (red wood city toyota 101) I took that quote and shopped around a few local ones. They would not touch it, probably b/c they know they can sell them easily. So I made the drive but when I got there they actually sold it days before. They said I needed to call and reserve it so not their fault. But said they would look for another one at another dealership since they were all linked. A few minutes later they said they would have one here the next day for the same price and wouldn't charge me a transfer fee. They were so cool, no haggling no pressure. Final price was $26,186 Out the door with TTL was $29,176. I put down 9k and financed the rest $555 a month 0% APR!!!! I normally spend $320 a month on gas in my Sequoia so now I'm gonna save about $200 a mo on gas with the Prius!!! love love love my new ride!!!! So basically $355 a mo for a new car that will be paid in full in 3 years is a no brainer. Also I just found out today that the Prius can read my text messages so you don't need to look at your phone!!!! She's a keeper for sure. Now looking to mod it a bit after seeing all the cool stuff people do to their cars.
