Just last night, I stopped to pick up my daughter and had to wait for 10 minutes or so, so left the parking lights on and put it into park. When we began to leave later, I noticed that there was no HSI or Speedometer showing when I turned the lights on (to include parking lights). I turned it off and on again, hoping that would take care of it. It did not. I put it through a charge cycle, still no change. Has this happened to anyone else? Any cures?
Have you tried adjusting the brightness of the dash lights ? That control only functions when the headlights are on......and it is dark outside maybe. Otherwise it could be a blown fuse maybe, IF those things are now off all of the time. Regardless, it should still be under warranty hopefully.
That sounds right. The dash display dims considerably when the headlights switch on. The brightness may be set very low, and it's possible that the lowest setting is turning them completely off.
