Battery pack replacement-Orlando? Dealership or no?

    My 2005 with 144k just died. The local dealership just diagnosed it with a complete hybrid pack failure.
    They'll replace the entire unit for around $3500 w/one-year warranty, but there are many places online that sell reconditioned sets for much less. Anybody recommend any place near Orlando. FL or is this a bad idea and I should just let the dealership handle it?

    There is a guy in Tampa advertising packs. Don't know anything about him though.

    Also, you could possibly buy a pack from a salvage yard ready to go for an undetermined amount of time.

    He is the one I have seen on craigs list. I don't believe they are new. I don't know anything about him other than another used car dealer doesn't care for him.

    Todd's a good guy, very helpful member here. He's just not any used car dealer, he's a prius specialist.

    He "can" get you a new pack, he sells both
