Shocked at what I saw on the news yesterday and just wanted to say to our Canadian friends that we're thinking of you at this time. Canada raised terror alert just TWO DAYS ago after fatal jihadi attack | Daily Mail Online How 'brave' of someone to run someone over, or shoot an unarmed man.
I'm impressed with their "Sargent at Arms", Kevin Vickers. Too often we think of some offices as being cerimonial but there is a reason the office exists. Bob Wilson
The people involved in stopping the maniac, like K Vickers, deserve applause and gratitude. The standing ovation and applause during today's parliament session was very nice. I don't attribute their bravery and heroism to anything that magic thoughts would provide, just good people doing good work. It was all them and it was an excellent response to a strange situation.
Here's the bravery . . . people running towards the danger. Kevin Vickers is indeed a hero! On those very steps leading up to Parliament Canadians gathered in the ten's of thousands after 9/11. The least we can do is send good thought and prayers for them and the family of murdered honor guard.
You're reading it out of context, unless you were deliberately trolling. I meant how brave of the idiot who shot the unarmed guard at the war memorial. Thankfully he got shot later in the parliament building. Sometimes sarcasm is lost on forums.
Sorry, I was trying to agree with your statement that the terrorist were devoid of courage by pointing out the courage of Canadians, men, women and elderly running towards danger to help their fellow countrymen. They've been doing that for quite some time. Some will try to argue that one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter but that's bull. I don't care what they say or what capabilities they lack in comparsion. This act defines cowardice.
