I just bought a 2012 Prius C (not sure if it's a 2,3,4 model?) Maybe someone cal tell me where to find that out. My main question is when I plug my iPhone into the USB port the radio changes over to my iPod music even though I was listening to the radio or XM. How do I stop it from doing this?
well to first answer your question about the model which you have, do you have a sun roof? alloy wheels? voice control button on the steering wheel? push button start?
I plug my phone into the cigarette lighter instead of USB. Problem solved. I know that is not what you want to hear. I have the same issue as you and I'd be interested in the solution as well.
i think you might have the option 3. as for your main problem, im not too sure why that is happening.
I did some research and found out that you need to update to 3.2 to fix this problem. Just go to the dealer and they'll update it for free. I just got back from my dealer and it's now updated to 3.2 and there's no more issues with my phone.
This was a well-known problem with earlier versions of Entune, and there are many threads about it on the forum. Glad you found the fix!
