Installing 2013+ Prius Tail light into 2010 prius?

    Is the 2013 taillight connector plug and mount the same as the one in a 2010 prius? I always liked that light style better then the ones in the 2010.

    Yes, the 2012+ and the PiP taillights are a direct fit on the 2010-11 hatchback.

    I agree and would like to switch my 2010 lights with 2013. When I inquired at one dealer they told me the 2013 would not work in a 2010. Not sure if they new for sure because it was not a question they had received before.

    A617. Did you replace your 2010 tail lights with 2013? I want to make sure they will work before I pursue replacing mine. Any thoughts of the less costly way to acquire 2013 tail lights?

    I've installed 2013+ lights on my 2010 and everything works accordingly.
