Google Drive - Virus scan warning Found by google.. In case any one need to update. Just did on my 2013 Prius C with Nav. No problem at all.
Where can we find information to determine what the point issue IS......and what the supposed advantages or fixes are included ?? [edit] I see you have listed the version number in the title.
If you don't know anything about this, I think it's not for you then.. Happy holiday and check this out. Entune 3.1.0/3.2.0 update how to and download link - Toyota Nation Forum : Toyota Car and Truck Forums
Totally uncalled for remark. Thank you for the link. [edit] Except that the original link in that thread no longer works anymore. How about a link to something official from Toyota ??
Toyota has never made these files publicly available. The only source has been the downloadable versions first posted at the Toyota Nation forum, which were presumably copied from a dealer's USB stick. The latest version is 3.2.0, which was released in January 2014. There has been nothing from Toyota since then.
That's right and that's why I post a working link here. And I don't think toyota will make this one public.
And where would that be exactly ?? In post #3 you gave a link to another forum, where the only link to it no longer works.
This is the link in post #1 that I see: Google Drive - Virus scan warning and what comes up is exactly that, a warning from Google virus scan.
It looks like a screen shot to me. WTH are YOU saying ?? Is this some kind of a puzzle ?? I'm not laughing.
Google Drive can't scan this file for viruses. documents-export-2014-10-03.zip (533M) exceeds the maximum size that Google can scan. Would you still like to download this file? Download anyway <---------------- ARE YOU ABLE TO READ?????? I am not laughing either.... I am crying for you!
For what it's worth, I downloaded the zip file, extracted the contents, and scanned them with the virus scanner on my PC. They check out clean and look like the versions of Entune 3.2.0 and 2.1 that I have from other sources. No guarantees, of course, but the OP did say that he'd installed the 3.2.0 with no problems.
Since when should someone know that clicking on a button on the face of a Google Virus scanner page........that you got to with a link......would actually produce a download, since that itself points to something else IN GOOGLE. And I don't do downloads that are "masked" as to where they really are coming from. In the future if you want to post a link to something, post the direct link to it. That will be a lot less confusing. And I'm no rookie at this computer stuff. I've been doing it probably longer than you have been alive.
OK Dude, if you are not comfort what I posted, please ignore, Directly link age is over since it overload the server easily, host learned the lesson and they changed the URL from time to time to avoid directly link. I hope you enjoyed the stuff people(including me) shared on internet and get more used to the way I shared.
Newbie here...Just got our Prius 4 days ago and realized the software was version 1.8.2. Thanks for the update, downloaded and updated with no problems
Thanks for posting the 3.2 version. I have been looking for this for a long time. I was on 3.2 and everything worked just fine. Music played off the USB port without problem. Updated to 5.2 and the music off the same thumb drive would freeze at random spots. Sometime it would freeze on the first song, sometimes it would play three songs, then freeze. The HU still works but would not play any songs off the thumb drive until I pull it out and plug it back in. It would then resume from the same spot it stopped before. Thinking about downgrading from 5.2 to 3.2. Anyone have any experience doing this? Would it be safe to down grade? This random stopping and requiring re-insert of the thumb drive is driving me crazy. Thanks -Paul
