I guess we can expect more super charger stations to be going up in Jersey now; Tesla wins right to operate in N.J. I'm glad to see the legislature acted in their favor. It took way too much pressure though. .
I work about 3/4 of a mile from their repair facility. I'll have to drive by and see if they have banners of celebration out.
Yea, but will you still be required to have an attendant put in the plug to charge it up? Bob Wilson ps. New Jersey has (had?) no self-service gas pumps when we last drove there.
There are 10 supercharger locations in NJ. Most superchargers seem to go on line quietly. It will be interesting to see if sales increase. For many of us the store in King of Prussia and the facility in Devon are closer so we'd buy in PA anyway. That's the chauffeur's job. Still no self serve gas in NJ.
Did he want to? Or was it a political move? I'm from Illinois; there are always decisions behind the decisions here.
The article's wrong about the location of the service facility in NJ, it's in Springfield, not Paramus.
Read the legislation. Only Tesla can sell EVs directly in NJ and they are limited to four locations. Not much of a loss for the dealers. This is a textbook example of special interest legislation. The difference between NJ politicians and Illinois politicians is that fewer of ours are caught & go to jail.
