If you look at the right-lower side of the bumper cover, looks like he hit something. You can't see it but the right side of the bumper cover is loose. I just thought all of the duct tape was funny (not for the owner, but for me).
I once had a '55 Buick on Okinawa held together by a lot more duct tape than that. It was legal there back in '67 as long as it was painted.
It looked like he put the tape on in layers. The first layer didn't work, and rather than remove the old tape, he/she just put more on. Repeat. But I still can't figure out whether there's a relationship between his bumper cover being loose and all the tape on his spoiler. Maybe there is no relationship? Mike
I'm alright with temporary Duct Tape fixes. I'm more insulted by how badly that was fixed with duct tape, not so much that duct tape was used. I just think if you took a little more time you could Git-R-Done a whole lot Purtyer.
I wasn't insulted by the use of duct tape. I just thought that with just a little more effort, it wouldn't look so bad/funny and idiots like me won't be taking pictures of the car and posting it here. Mike
