This what I don't understand, why does someone try to sell a used Plug In above what a brand new Plug In is at MSRP? ... And when I ask for a more realistic price, I get accused of "low balling", even when I provide a link to Edmunds. I even cite dealers selling below MSRP for new Plug Ins and their price is above dealer used prices. What are these people thinking? Hopefully reality set in soon, as gas prices has been falling a few pennies every 3 - 4 days in a row. Below is just a few examples:
unfortunately, some of us paid msrp for our pips, and then, they dropped the price. so, unless we're desperate, we ain't budgin'.
I'm guessing that dealer didn't get the word that the HOV sticker program has been extended for PHVs.
Instead of getting your shorts all bunched up - go see Dianne over at the Carson Dealership & she'll do you right !! Dianne's PlugIn deals - the last remaining cars for 2015 | PriusChat .
+1 27K for a brand-spanking-new Pip isn't a bad deal! EDIT: More like 28OTD. Since there will be no 2016 pip I'm guessing that the remaining 2015's will go fairly fast.
Not sure why anyone would purchase a used car for they same or close to the same price as a new one..... It would be different if you couldn't find them anymore but that isn't the case
