Hello everyone, I'm new to this community, and car, and I was just wondering if anyone knew where the jack spots for the 2014 Prius C were. I know where the side ones are But I was wondering if anyone knew where the rear jack spot was. I'm assuming it's the that blue piece sticking out between the black and the grey (sorry for the lingo, not a car guy) but I just want to make sure that's the spot I can put my jack. Thanks in advance. iPad ?
Think you've got it right. Page 366: FWIW, I don't like putting safety stands at Toyota's scissor jack locations, they're so flimsy. Usually if you look around you can find something more solid in the vicinity.
I had looked at the owners Manual, just wasn't too sure. You guys put my mind at ease. Thanks. iPhone ?
I use these adapters with my floor jack: http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=291524157131&alt=web I don't have to worry about ruining the side pinch welds.
That looks good. Pricy... I will bite under $10. The front jack location is pain in your xxx. I can't even send my jack to that location, very very far back from the front. Last time I have to jack it from the side to do oil change. I think I will make a ramp for her.
3 Ton is too thick to get under the body. Unless you get those low profile. No idea why Toyota designed like that.
Tell that to my very regular 3 ton. And even if it doesn't fit, drive the front tires up onto short sections of 2x8, there's always a way.
You have a C? The front bumper doesn't look like any version of C. Yes. I do agree to drive on a short ramp is the better way. Not sure about Prius, but the front jackup location seems diff than C and regular prius. Take a look at My Super White Prius c One (with various undercarriage pics) | PriusChat The yellow bolt seems the location of the jack. It almost behind the front wheel. I can't even get my 2.5Ton jack under that.
Ah woops, no I was talking regular Prius. And I was so sure. Thanks for the link, very nice pics, and yeah you're right, that yellow bolt location must be it. I looked at the Prius c owners manual for comparison. Hopefully running up onto 2x8 pieces will help you.
