It appears the Prius will also come in a Coupe. Quote taken from the linked article: "The new Prius, which will arrive at U.S. dealers first as a coupe, looks much more like a conventional car; up-to-date fashion sensibility and design cues are inspired by Toyota’s Mirai fuel-cell car, a swoopy space-age creation." Toyota's new Prius gets a makeover, to look hipper - Fortune
In the absence of denoting any other body versions, that reads like the writer had a brain-fart typo. Also, it's Fortune. Not exactly an entity that has special inroads and insight into the auto industry relative to, oh... any traditional automotive press.
Yeah, I hate this trend of being illiterate and rendering words meaningless for marketing purposes. Somebody needs to sue these companies for false advertising when they take delivery on a 4-door "coupe".

Yes. In My Opinion... A coupe is ALWAYS a 2 door vehicle. Any forwarding of the idea that a coupe can be a 4 door vehicle or is just marketing smoke and mirrors. As far as a coupe Prius? Well if Toyota did it, kudos to them for keeping it secret this long. I'll believe it, if and when I see it.
when they come out with the prius pick up for the working man Ill be happy, im tired of cutting the roof my cars
Having read this forum for all these years, trust me, it will only be a short matter of time until someone cuts up a GenIV and turns it into a "Pruck" as is pictured above from a GenII.
I think that the Prius would make a great micro-truck, but the folks in Aichi aren't into that. In fact.....there ARE no small trucks anymore.
