I have a new Prius 3, and sometimes it's a hit/miss connecting to an iPod Classic. The iPod has been connected with an Apple 30 pin cord in the center console. Some people reported similar issues before, but this has happened to me 5-10 times in the 2 months of ownership. Is this a major issue, where I should take it in? Or does anyone have a fix?
Try cleaning the ipod port with a tooth pick or maybe cimpressed air. Pocket lint likes to build up in them. Does another cable work?
The USB port on the car is clean since it's brand new. I'll try cleaning the iPod port and try a different cord. I just never had an issue with this iPod on my last car.
