    Yep . . . . the very turds supposedly making sure San Onofre would run, but instead failed - have not reduced their pay in light of their oftimes failures. In fact, SOP ... they're still making well over a million/year on the average;

    And why are they getting stock awards for failures?
    So of COURSE the solar minority should bend over. You'd expect nothing less.
    I'm just wondering how much infrastructure these clowns could have built if their pay was cut in half - yet still leaving many of them with 6 & 7 figure incomes - never mind their HUGE expense accounts;

    It'd be in the millions, and that'd certainly pay for more than we're getting now.

    thomas may, ceo of eversource electric and natural gas, got 13 million in salary, bonus and stock options in 2013. then, after raising electric rates fro .18/kwh to .24/kwh, they jumped him to 19 million in 2014. not a bad gig if you can get it.
    whenever he is asked about his compensation or increasing rates, he always brings it back to customer service. like any ceo, they are politicians, paid to take the flak for the board of directors and stockholders.

    this clown hat has been a ceo of power companies in the northeast for over 20 years, making a killing off of screwing ratepayers and shmoozing their 'elected representatives'.

    With the public/government granting these private utilities a natural monopoly on an indispensable commodity, they must be tightly regulated.

    Dictating that their most senior officers can earn no more than 10x the median total compensation of their company employees would be appropriate. There are many well qualified people who would take these positions for <<1$ million and do a fine job running the operation.

    There should be no stockholders. As a monopoly on an indispensable commodity, they should be run as non-profits. Lobby and vote accordingly.

    Well! this is an interesting twist! I talked to my Solar City rep today, complaining about the $10 minimum charge per month by SCE. He said that I shouldn't be concerned because Solar City is going to cover the cost in a rebate to me!!!!!!! He said that Solar City is going to join with other solar providers in California to appeal the PUC decision. This is going to get interesting! I love Solar City!

    I can't provide a "screen shot" of this conversation! :ROFLMAO:

    Did you purchase or lease your system?

    I leased my system for 20 years. It was a couple of thousand less expensive than purchase. I figure that in 20 years there will be newer and more advanced technology and Solar City will probably beg me to keep my system rather than incur the expense of removing it and putting everything back to original, which is in the contract. Also, at my age, I will probably be living in "other places" rather than this home I love so much, in 20 years. However, my primary care physician tells me that with the advances in medical care, better diets today, my current health record, if no accidents or falls, and my personal family genetics, that I will probably live into my 110's! Watch out world!
