L.A. auto show this weekend (nov 15th) and the Model X isn't an 'Official' entrant? First Drive: The New Tesla Model X SUV Has Some Surprises - Bloomberg Business Weird - but in the past Tesla has had offerings at different shows - it's just that they'd be set up at another's booth. Still, I wonder why. .
Did they have anything last year? Tesla doesn't spend money on many auto shows. Typically, only the Detroit one in the U.S. I thought. That being said, they have shown the X in past years and I suspect they are very focused on the ramp up of production. Frankly, I'm more eager for the unveiling of the Model 3 in March!
Tesla spends little to nothing on advertising, and that is what the show entrance fee amounts too. It's not like the Model X's they are making are going to sit on a lot waiting for a buyer.
IIRC, last time I went to the LAshow, the S was @ the (maybe) panasonic booth? ... or maybe it was something else .... an outlier area where owners simply were showing off their own individual wares? memory ain't what it used to be ... .
Hehe, mine neither! Here in Minneapolis we get very little special cars. I was impressed last March we got a 2016, second gen Volt. I wonder if we might see a Mirai even though they won't be selling them in this market.
