There's a new gaggle of ads, positioned in every thread between last posting and response window. On a phone, try scrolling between those: nope, you're thumbing through the ads. And scrolling, and scrolling. The work around is to thumb at the very edge of the screen, but it's tedious.
I HATE IT!!! Use to be able to jump on priuschat on my smart phone with no hassles. Now I can't respond to postings without being re-directed to some dopey site wanting to tell me about the latest government controlled sugar food thing. I will gladly pay 5 bucks a month to lose this!
maybe that's the idea. i wish mrs. danny would have her baby so he would stop screwing with the software.
Yeah, this is only on my phone. I'm using AdBlock on my PC, but it wasn't an arbitrary choice: the site would not work properly without AB. Recently, I tried disabling AB, and it locked up right away.

Yup, agreed the ads are terrible and make scrolling on a phone (even an immense screened I phone 6 Plus like mine) very annoying to the point of almost wanting to give up. Lol.
I guess I am the Luddite of the group, I don't access the forum on my phone. However, whenever that group of video ads (nutrition supposedly or health or something) appears on the left edge of the screen, it essentially makes FireFox useless (totally locks it up) and makes Chrome a real pain. It is misery for as long as they hang around -- a week or two -- every few weeks.
It is very hard and tedious to reply using a smartphone. Please, if you need revenue, then at least give us the choice of either paying for no belly fat ads, or having annoying ads.
I don't blame you for not using the phone. It's really difficult for me to pound my next 40oz malt liquor - respond here through Tapatalk, all the while I'm reading the paper & driving at the same time. .
I do about 50/50, pc and phone. Anyone can say: "well there's your problem, just stop using your phone". Or: "well there's your problem, stop using Internet Explorer". Or: "well there's your problem, you're not using AdBlock". PriusChat, or any site, will fare better when it's viable on a wide variety of platforms, without needing a lot of tinkering. My thumb is all tuckered out, lol.
Use a straw on your "Mickey's Mean Green<" that will probably help you out with the malt liquor part of the effort.
