My 2012 PIP has the GPS nav system and if I want to shut it off before my destination I can't find out how to do it! I can't find anything on it in my Owners Manual either. I do not see a "Del. Destination" to press and I do not have a "Stop Guidance" to press either. Any clues out there?
Press Dest and "Del. destination". It's saved in "Previous destinations", so you can re-enter it later if needed. I wish they had kept the "Pause navigation" function from the Gen III, it was very useful!
The button labelled "Del Destination" has always confused me. It does not delete the destination from your destination directory or favorites or whatever. What they asking is if you want to delete a destination from your active navigation route.
I do not see a "Del. destination" button after pressing Dest! any more ideas? Thanks. I don't have a stop guidance button after pressing the options button, any other ideas? Thanks
In my 2012 PIP, when a destination has been set, pressing Options brought up a screen and the second item from the top was delete destination. Perhaps you selected Options when no destination was set.
Thanks for getting back to me! But the problem is that I do have a destination set and want to stop it, I have not seen any delete destination to press no matter what I do. Any more ideas? THANKS!

honestly, i don't know why yours would be different than mine. we both have 2012 base. i went out and double checked it, i don't know what else to say. hopefully someone else will chime in with another idea, all the best!
