Is there another way to play a text other than press the play button on the head unit. Is there a way to do it from the steering wheel controls. I've tried every button and can't figure it out. I'm I missing something or it just can't be done? Edit/update:After some experimenting and research I found a way to send, receive and listen to text messages from the steering wheel controls. It is accomplished by using Siri hands free. It works great.
The text will show up on your head unit screen automatically. Press and hold the phone pickup button on your steering wheel. A picture of a microphone will show up on the same screen. When that appears just say...read text.
